Over the years we’ve been asked plenty of questions, so here is a collection of some of the most frequently asked questions.
The fuel has been tested and approved by a UK Cummins distributor , who has also provided a warranty for the use of the Biofuel in the generators. Additionally, Cummins has extensive experience running Biofuel in their generators in the UK. The fuel is independently verified to prove its sustainability and compliance with EN14214 standards
What happens if biofuel prices increase?
The generators are capable of operating on diesel, enabling a seamless switch back to diesel when necessary and allowing for a gradual transition to hydrogen over time.
Is the energy solution insured?
Yes and the fuel manufacturer has been in operation for over 15 years and is recognised as an industry expert.
Can you show us a reference site?
Yes, we are happy to share details of operational generators.
What are the carbon credentials?
Compared to diesel, biofuel starts at 95% less carbon impact.
A typical installation will require an area for the equivalent of 4 car parking spaces
What are the payment options and what is the RPI on the PPA?
The solution is fully funded and backed by the provision of a Power Purchase Agreement with the client. There are annual increases that are linked to RPI and not energy inflation which is historically higher. The PPA payments are monthly.

How long does it take to get up and running?
